Episode 6: Meredith Amenkhienan and Rachel Wentworth of Forty Winks
Happy New Year! Just a quick and sappy THANK YOU to all of you who've listened, downloaded, commented, supported, etc. this 'cast. I had no idea if people would listen and now that people are, I couldn't be happier or prouder. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This episode is near and dear to me because it tells the (abbreviated) story of our brick and mortar shop, Forty Winks. I couldn't do this episode without my business partner, the other half of Winks, Meredith Amenkhienan. Mer and I structured this episode of Keeping Shop with sort of a frequently asked questions vibe where we address the most common questions we get from our clients and friends. We riff on everything from our respective origin stories to our business partnership to what we've developed as best practices for buying. We also address 2016 and what ended up being a rough year for us financially. Meredith and I wanted to talk about this because we believe that being honest about the tough things opens pathways to growth and gives us the opportunity to adjust and build a stronger business. We also nerd out on bra fitting and offer up some tips on how a bra should fit and when it's time to reboot your top drawer. Enjoy the show.
